Hi Wasif,

When we run campaigns on business email ID's (non yahoo, hotmail, aol etc). We get a lot of bot clicks & sometimes we block the IP's but always not possible.
Bot clicks destroy conversions statistics. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Sometimes they are not just bots but antivirus software installed that scans all the links instantly to find if the content ahead is safe. And yes we already have such an option to suppress such clicks from being tracked. Go to Application Settings and under the Broadcast tab, set the value for "Ignore Duplicate Opens for".

10 should be ok. So it will ignore the duplicated clicks if repeated within 10s.

I think when we have multiple clicks the application will not add or show it in the statistics but it will redirect the clicks.
Yesterday we sent a campaign on 100K list & it has got around 20K+ clicks. Most of the clicks are bot clicks from a range of IPs or multiple clicks from single IP's.
I was checking google analytics real-time report & it was showing 1000+ active visitors at a time.

To resolve the issue we need to pass the clicks to 3rd party application where we can add the IPs on the block list. Using multiple applications may have click loss.

It will be good if Mumara can provide the option to block the IP's. It will help to stop redirect the clicks from Mumara.

So in this case, you can post a suggestion in the feature request to make a section of blocked IP addresses and all clicks originating from those IPs will not be taken care of, and they will be voided.
