How does the PMTA integration function work?

Hello,

At first I thought with this addon mumara would install PMTA for me and I just have to fill in the details(server ip, pass, domains, mapping etc) just like in Mumara Classic.

Do I need to already have PMTA installed for this to work? Because the only reason I bought the addon is for it to configure the pmta for me.

Certainly! To clarify, PowerMTA needs to be installed independently as Mumara only serves to configure and integrate with it. Installing third-party licensed software, like PowerMTA, is something a legitimate company would avoid doing on its own, due to the potential for security breaches. Once PowerMTA is installed, Mumara's addon can then be used effectively. This addon allows Mumara to process Delivery Status Notifications (DSN) from PowerMTA's accounting files, among other functionalities.

Ah I see. I thought it would be the same as Mumara Classic.

Another question:

I have pmta5 and I can install it via the few commands, so after the installation I just need to put the vps ip where pmta is installed and then put the additional ips and the domains I want to configure in the following steps as asked? Then mumara will configure it as VMTAs correct?
