Sequential vs Batch Sending During IP Warm-Up

Hello community,

Am new here. We’re warming up new IPs and testing sequential vs batch sending.

Some people say sequential protects reputation, others say batch sends help finish faster as far as I have gone through the community forum
What has actually worked better for you in real-world sending?

Welcome to the community

From my experience, sequential sending works much better during the early warm-up phase. Batch sending may look faster, but it often triggers rate limits, especially on Major ISPs.

We tried batches early once and saw deferrals within hours. After switching to sequential, things stabilized.

Roughly the first two weeks. You can focus on consistent daily volumes and only send to your most engaged contacts.

Once deferrals stop and inbox placement looks stable, then slowly start using small batches, which can be done through a few clicks in Mumara.

Jumping in here our experience was very similar.

Batch sending sounds attractive, but during warm-up it caused uneven traffic spikes. Sequential sending gave us more control, and it was easier to spot issues before they got worse when we were starting up things. This control mechanism is the best thing in Mumara....:)

We avoided it entirely for the first phase. After about 3 weeks, we tested small batches and watched Major ISP responses closely.

If anything looked off, we went straight back to sequential.
